Congratulations on taking a step toward changing your life for the better. To help you gain an understanding of what to expect when you’re a patient at the Bridge to Recovery we have prepared a list of our frequently asked questions.
What addictions does the Bridge to Recovery treat?
The Bridge to Recovery treats all substance addictions, such as drugs or alcohol.
How long does treatment last?
Our primary course of treatment is 30 days, but other arrangements can be made.
What is the cost of the program?
The cost of Bridge to Recovery’s 30-day program is $3,500. Ask about our Upgraded Executive Program with private room.
Is financing available for treatment?
Program fees are expected at admission. If you cannot afford treatment, Bridge to Recovery will try to find a program for you.
What methods of payment do you accept?
The Bridge to Recovery accepts cash, cashiers check and most major credit cards for payment. Credit cards will be accessed an extra fee depending on card used.
What should I bring?
Please bring 7 days worth of clothes, comfortable shoes, a jacket or sweater, personal hygiene supplies, and a photo ID.
Will I be able to do laundry?
There is a washer and dryer available for use, and supplies are provided.
What is your cell phone policy?
We do not allow cell phones, smart watches, or any other electronic devices. we will store any electronic or phones in your locker until you leave. A land-line is available for semi-private and limited use. We recommend you bring a list of the phone numbers you might need during your stay.
What do I need to provide when bringing medications?
Please bring a minimum 30 day supply of your prescribed medications. Medications must be in date, labeled by a pharmacy and have your name listed on the pharmacy label. Over the counter medication must be sealed and only used as directed on package.
Do you allow smoking?
Yes, we do. Please plan on bringing a supply of cigarettes that will last for your entire stay.
May I receive mail?
Yes, residents can receive mail during their stay. Please have mail sent to 2111 Stafford Street Extension, Monroe, NC 28110.
Will I have access to the internet?
No, we do not allow for access to internet. This includes facebook and email access.
Can I bring snacks from home?
Yes, snacks and drinks are allowed if they come in sealed packaging.
If I have dietary restrictions, can meals be accommodated to meet my needs?
Unusual dietary needs should be discussed prior to admission to confirm.
Do I need to bring any cash for outside activities or for any other reason?
Patients may bring a small amount of cash. We have a limited canteen available with snacks and soft drinks. Generally, you will not need money for outside activities.
Can I leave at any time during treatment?
Yes, Bridge to Recovery is a voluntary program.
